Balearic Forum for Responsible
Consume (4/10/2000)
Some twenty organisations, firms and
professional people specialising in topics of sustainable, responsible
consume participated on October 4 in the meeting prior to the
constitution of the "Fòrum Balear de Consum Sostenible".
The meeting was called by the Grup Balear d'Ornitologia i Defensa
de la Naturalesa (GOB). The Balearic councillors for Health and
Consume, Aina Salom attended together with Miquel Angel Ballester
and Magdalena Ribas of the Environmental Education Service of
the GOB.
To give solidity to the Forum, training
days have been organised that will take place on December 1 and
2, 2000. It is planned to elaborate and debate a Strategy for
the training of the responsible consumer.
