Mallorca advances towards the environmental and urban collapse (20/2/2001)

The GOB has presented the report "Dades urbanístiques i ambientals de l'any 2000". According to the ecological organisation, "all the environmental indicators make one conclusion clear: Mallorca is advancing towards an environmental and urbanistic collapse, following the process of accelerated degradation in 1994. It is necessary to take strong measures to stop this tendency."
The GOB's report gives details referring to 2000 and proposes to the different administrations urgent action to avoid the environmental and urbanistic collapse.
