Dear Sir:

The government of which you are the President is proposing a law of Tributary and Administrative measures along with the community annual budget. This includes two additional laws which would result in the practical disappearance of the Natural Parks of Llevant (Mallorca) and Cala d'Hort (Ibiza).

The approval of these laws would reduce the Parc de Llevant to an area of 7'3% and lead to the practical disappearance of Cala Hort.

It is absolutely unacceptable to reduce these areas, as it is completely unjustified from an environmental criteria and is possibly illegal. These proposals we believe are of questionable motives. It is ignoble that a government that represents citizens like us, having a high decree of green conscience, to leave us in this shameful situation in front of European Communities.

We are asking you to eliminate from the law accompanying the budgets, the additional measures that threaten the natural parks of Llevant and Cala Hort.
