Sa Canova, a natural site endangered

The country estate of Sa Canova is situated on the southern side of Mallorca, in the municipality of Campos. It is formed by 99 hectares of very well preserved Mediterranean scrub, rich in flora and fauna. It is also, right opposite the wetland area of Es Salobrar de Campos and attached to the dunes and beach of Es Trenc, two of the most important natural sites of Mallorca .

The Parliament of the Balearic Isles, with a majority of the political group Partido Popular, is trying to pass a law that authorises the urbanisation of this natural site. The impact of this project on the threatened area and its surrounding, Es Salobrar de Campos and Es Trenc, will be fatal.

From here we would like to show you some of the splendours of this natural site and our firm opposition to this project. Your help is very important.
